ComplaintI was a client of David Margolis CPA of Boston. After his passing , his daughter , Alisa assumed responsibiliies for the firm. All information for filing tax year 2021 was sent to the office of Margolis and Shapiro , 240 Commercial St , MA by April 2022....After repeated reminders and recieving assurances that the taxes would be filed ,I discovered that was not the case. By December of 2022 taxes had not yet been filed. As I anticipated , the penalties assessed by the IRS were quite steep . After paying the penalties I sent all relevant paperwork to Margolis Shapiro CO with the request that I be reimbursed ...The registered mail was sent June 8, 2023.. I have yet to recieve a reply from Margolis Shapiro Co....
