Marc Weiss is a results-driven, transformational CFO with extensive experience turning around struggling enterprises. In his role as CFO for Park Avenue Properties, Marc lead all financial operations for the organization, including GAAP, tax, compliance, financial analysis and planning, data Analytics, AP, AR, cash management, and many other financial functions. Also, he managed
a high performing team of financial professionals in delivering results to the company.
Some of the critical achievements Marc has achieved in his current role include turning around a struggling accounting department from top to bottom. The turnaround involved a complete full department overhaul, including implemented new technology & training. As a result of Marc's effort, he saved his company thousands, monthly. Also, Marc received company accolades for having the best run department, year after year.
Marc has a variety of industry experience that includes working in the real estate/property management & technology industries. As well, Marc has an excellent accounting foundation, having started his career working at a leading New York accounting firm LA SALA, CPA, P.C, in a variety of capacities.
Marc also owns a full-service accounting firm MGW Accounting Services LLC, a premium accounting firm that specializes in bookkeeping, consulting, outsourcing, payroll, and business services.
As someone who believes in giving back to the community, Marc volunteers at the Charlotte Mecklenberg Food Policy Council as an Executive Committee and Treasurer.
