I had a horrible experience with Irene Borum. Her response time was poor. She blamed her slow response time 2 weeks! on how busy she was with other client tax returns. I chalk it up to incompetence or taking on more than she could handle. Or both! No matter how you cut it, it was extremely frustrating. She misspelled my name throughout my entire return and recorded the incorrect address for my residence. She also mistakenly took one of my children off of the return but I did not find out until after she submitted the return. Worst of all, when I pointed all of these things out to her, she tried to blame me. She said that it would be too lengthy a process to amend the return so she encouraged me to go along with her mistake. It is one thing to make a mistake. It is another to not take responsibility for it. I had to make the amends on my own as she bailed when I told her I wanted to make the necessary amends to my return. My guess is that she probably bailed because she took on too many clients. It was a huge headache having to have to contact the IRS to make amends.
